To enhance your natural beauty,
I perform safe and simple treatments using the highest quality products and equipment available.
Botulinum toxin A smooths wrinkles and softens expressions.
Dermal fillers support skin structures to help prevent the signs of ageing, enhancing a youthful look and can also provide a natural look with lip hydration and definition.
I qualified as doctor in 2008 from Imperial College School of Medicine and have worked in London in anaesthetics, acute and emergency medicine. I moved to Whitstable to live near the sea, and completed my GP training here. I continue to work locally in that role, whilst also developing a passion for aesthetic medicine.
I have extensive experience in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, rejuvenative skin treatments, skin care and body contouring. I have been trained at the 102 Academy in Harley Street, Cosmetic Courses and Visage Academy. I am committed to professional development and regularly attend conferences and courses to keep my techniques as up to date as possible, to achieve the best cosmetic results with the safest techniques.
I am regulated by the General Medical Council, and am a member or the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group. I am fully insured for the treatments.
I have an aesthetic clinic at Clinic 124 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 0930 and 1430. I can see patients later with a little planning. I do general aesthetics on Wednesdays and Fridays, and I have a body contouring clinic on Thursdays.

Anti-wrinkle treatments
I offer a number of different anti-wrinkle treatments and can discuss a personalised treatment plan on consultation.
Dermal fillers
As we age our bones, muscles and fat pads of our face resorb and diminish, leading to less support for the skin structures. This causes the skin and soft tissues to descend slightly, leading to jowls or marionette lines. Dermal fillers are injected into the skin to add volume, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and hydrate the skin. The dermal fillers I use contain hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar chain molecule found in the skin and soft tissues of the body. The filler comes as a gel which is injected to support skin structures and reduce the signs of ageing. Depending on the site and filler used the effects can last usually 12 months.
Lip fillers
Lip fillers are also made from the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. They can be used to hydrate the lips, to add volume, or even to add a subtle definition to the lip. Lip fillers can also be used to reduce the appearance of smoker lines around the mouth and to support downturned lip corners. The fillers have different properties- one type lasts from 6 months and another lasts from 12 months.
Profhilo
Profhilo is perfect for skin with crepey effect and fine lines. It involves five small injections on each side of the face at specific points. It is a very safe procedure and takes about 10 minutes and has no downtime. It is different to fillers as it spreads like a honey under the skin to smooth it and add hydration. It also has a special formula of hyaluronic acid (the naturally occurring sugar chain that is in our skin or made in factories for dermal fillers and Profhlilo), which has a slow release leading to lasting results. It helps the skin to produce elastin and collagen which give the skin a firmer, more youthful appearance. The treatment requires 2-3 sessions 1 month apart and then 6 monthly as maintenance if needed.
DesoFace
If you are unhappy with your side profile, with stubborn fat under your chin, DesoFace is a great option. It involves tiny injections into the area with deoxycholic acid. This is a naturally occurring acid which is in our bodies to aid digestion of fats. It is used to break the fat cells in the area and the fat is then removed by the lymphatics and excreted. For maximum results wearing a chin strap for a few days will help the lymphatic drainage of the area. I provide this at treatment. The procedure is best when repeated and usually needs 2-3 treatments with a month break in-between.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a fast, effective, and safe solution for the removal of skin imperfections.
Procedures typically last 5 to 30 seconds, so you can be in and out quickly.
A fine jet of Nitrous Oxide under high pressure, allowing work with millimeter precision. This destroys the tissue by freezing the intracellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals that rupture the membrane and destroy the cell.
There will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue. It is incredibly accurate and practical. Cosmetic procedures to remove skin tags, milia, and cherry angiomas are no longer being treated by many doctors on the NHS.
With Cryotherapy you can now have these treatments here.
The applicator is held as close as possible to the skin imperfection and moved towards and away from it for 1-30 seconds depending on the size and depth. It removes skin tags and age spots, is minimally invasive, and fast treatment times. It is ideal for skin tags, solar lentigo, pigmented spots, seborrhoeic keratosis, haemangiomas, plantar warts, condyloma, and molluscum.
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are a minimally invasive procedure that uses the DNA and RNA of fish in a fine gel, that are injected to the skin of the target treatment area.
They act as a trigger to the skin cells fibroblasts to promote healing and tissue regeneration, resulting in improved skin appearance. It is a safe and effective treatment option with minimal downtime and side effects.
Facial Rejuvenation with polynucleotide therapy is being used as a non-surgical alternative to traditional facelifts to improve skin texture, tone, and overall appearance. The fibroblasts and healing cascade that is triggered, stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration, leading to a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
Polynucleotides can help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dull skin by stimulating collagen production and increasing blood flow to the treated area such as face, around the eyes and neck.
They help to promote healing and tissue regeneration, leading to improved texture and appearance of acne scars. Polynucleotide therapy can help improve the appearance of dark circles or puffiness under the eyes and improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin.
Polynucleotide therapy can be used to treat hair loss and stimulate hair regrowth. Polynucleotide therapy can help to increase hair thickness and density by promoting the growth of healthy hair follicles.
3D Lipo Ultimate Pro
I have invested in the top of the range machine to be able to offer the very best results. The 3D Lipo Ultimate Pro offers a range of technologies to help reduce fat, help inch loss, reduce the appearance of cellulite and also tighten the skin on the face and body.
Cavitation is best for overall fat reduction. It is a natural phenomenon based on low frequency ultrasound. The ultrasound produces a strong wave of pressure to fat cell membranes. A fat cell cannot withstand this pressure and therefore disintegrates into a liquid state.
What happens to the released fat?
During the 3D-cavitation treatment, the membranes of the fat cells are disrupted. The fat cell content, primarily comprised of triglycerides, is dispersed into the fluid between the cells and then transported through the vascular and lymphatic systems to the liver. The liver makes no distinction between fat coming from the 3D-cavitation treatment and fat originating from consumed food. Both are processed by the body’s natural mechanisms.
What areas can be improved with 3D-cavitation?
3D-cavitation is best for treating larger areas of fat such as the abdomen, thighs and ‘muffin top’.
How many treatments are recommended?
A course of 6-8 treatments are recommended to achieve optimum results although your therapist will advise the best treatment plan for you.
What Results Can I Expect from this Treatment?
Results can be seen from treatment one, with an average loss of 1-3 cm per treatment. Results will be improved during each treatment.
Can I combine 3D-cavitation with other treatments?
3D-cavitation can often be combined with other treatments depending on what you are looking to achieve.
What will I experience during treatment?
The size of the treatment area determines the duration of the session. During treatment, a handheld device delivering ultrasound energy gently glides over the marked area. The majority of treated patients consistently report a painless and comfortable experience.
3D-RF Face & Body is used for anti-ageing, skin tightening, and smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles. It penetrates the skin layers to selectively heat the skin tissue and the extra cellular matrix where the collagen fibres are embedded. The local heating of the area being treated causes an immediate contraction of the collagen fibres, and at the same time increases the metabolism of the fibroblast order to accelerate production of new collagen and elastin fibres to create a smoother, healthier and younger looking skin. Fat melting RF will heat up the fat cells to cause elongation and flattening of the cells to smooth out the appearance of cellulite.
What areas can be improved with 3D-RF Face & Body?
3D-RF Face & Body targets anti-ageing for the face and body and can treat the forehead, ‘crow’s feet’, upper lip, jowls and neck area, as well as on the body such as the abdomen and arms. RF fat melting will also improve the appearence of cellulite.
How many treatments are recommended?
A course of treatment is typically advised to achieve maximum results this is usually 6 - 8 treatments, one treatment per week for 6 - 8 weeks.
What results can I expect from this treatment?
Results can be seen as soon as after your first treatment, however a course of treatments are recommended as results are further improved after each treatment.
Can I combine 3D-RF Face & Body with other treatments?
3D-RF Face & Body can be performed as a standalone treatment recommended for skin tightening and anti-ageing for the face and body. However, technologies can be combined to create a bespoke facial or body treatment plan.
What will I experience during treatment?
3D-RF Face & Body is a relaxing treatment. Product will be applied to the skin, this acts as a conductor for the 3DRF Face & Body energy. A small, round handpiece will be placed onto the skin and moved in gentle circular motions. A slight beeping noise will come from the machine, the handpiece will get warmer and warmer, building heat until it reaches 40 degrees. Your therapist will use an infrared thermometer to measure the heat of the skin. Once the temperature has built up to 40 degrees, your therapist will continue to maintain the heat, continuing treatment on the area for 2 - 4 minutes, before moving onto the next area.
3D shockwave is for stubborn pockets of fat and cellulite. It works by stimulating the fat breakdown, collagen synthesis, and lymphatic drainage. 3D-shockwave is delivered by placing a probe up against the areas of cellulite, as it passes over the area it emits radial waves through the skin.
For cellulite, sound waves stimulate the microcirculation within the fat layer, increasing the metabolic function of the area and cellular membrane permeability. Free fatty acids and glycerol are released from the fat cells and sit in the intercellular space. Lymphatic movement and increased blood supply remove these waste products from the body.
For skin tightening, sound waves stimulate blood and lymphatic circulation within the area. They also stimulate the connective tissue and septa mobility, giving the skin a firmer tone and reducing the dimples within the skin.
What areas can be improved with 3D-shockwave?
3D-shockwave can be performed on many areas of the body including the outer and inner thighs, knees, arms, hips, buttocks, and stomach.
How many treatments are recommended?
A course of 8 sessions recommended following 3D-lipo fat removal/fat melting treatments.
What results can I expect from this treatment?
Results are seen as quickly as 2 weeks after starting the course. If you exercise and increase your water intake you may see even better results. 90% of women who took part in a clinical study would recommend this treatment.
Can I combine 3D-shockwave with other treatments?
Many people who undergo 3D-shockwave choose to combine it with other procedures. This technology acts as an accelerator for all of the other technologies in the 3D-lipo system to speed up and enchance results.
What will I experience during treatment?
The treatment itself is quite noisy, making a loud knocking sound. 3D-shockwave is a comfortable treatment and feels like a tapotement massage.
3D-cryofreeze treats stubborn pockets of fat and body sculpting. It is a unique non-invasive treatment using a combination of electro and cryo therapy. Using the 3D-cryofreeze handpiece, this creates vacuum which draws the fat into the handpiece. This localised area within the handpiece is then frozen, causing 20% - 40% of the fat cells in that area to die.
How this tech works ?
3D-cryofreeze targets specifically the fat cells. By lowering the temperature to -10 degrees it pinpoints the content of the fat cells, causing them to crystalize. No other structures are affected by this process. The remaining content of the fat cells is then disposed of naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.
What areas can be improved with 3D-cryofreeze?
This treatment is best for targeting those stubborn areas that just won’t shift. Typical areas ideal for 3D-cryofreeze including inner thighs, lower abdomen and ‘muffin tops’, you can create a tailored treatment plan to provide the best possible results which may include combining 3D-cryofreeze with other technologies. Two areas can now be treated simultaneously with the 3D-cryofreeze duo application.
How many treatments are recommended?
Only one treatment is required per area, and can be repeated after 12 weeks with a standalone treatment, or after 6 weeks if 4 sessions of shockwave are used after.
What results can I expect from this treatment?
On average you will see a 20% - 40% reduction of the fat in the localised area. As the body takes several months to flush out the dead fat cells, results will be visible after 6 - 12 weeks.
Can I combine 3D-cryofreeze with other treatments?
3D-cryofreeze is a one off treatment, however it can be devised as a part of a course of treatments. It is great as a one off treatment for targeting stubborn areas, but can also be combined with other technologies on the machine to enhance results.
What will I experience during treatment?
First of all, an anti-freeze pad is placed onto the area of treatment, to protect the skin. During treatment, the fat is drawn into a suction cup before freezing. This will provide a slight pulling sensation and the area will be cold. Within a few minutes, the area should go numb. The handpiece will be on the area from 30 - 60 minutes to depending on the size of the area being treated.

Complications are uncommon and transient, usually becoming noticeable within a few days and usually settling within a few weeks of treatment.
Injections are not painful and are well tolerated without anaesthetic. They can be felt as a mild discomfort, but many do not feel any discomfort at all.
You will go back to your pre-injection state after 3-6 months.
Swelling and redness at injection site usually settle within 20 minutes but can last longer.
Bruising can occur so best avoid the treatment before a big event.
Asymmetry of expression can occur. This can be reviewed at the follow up and doses adjusted for a top up if needed.
Drooping of the brow or eyelid.
Heavy or tight feeling in the head after treatment.
Can anyone have dermal fillers?
NOT IF
you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
you suffer from blood thinning disorders or take blood thinning medications.
you have autoimmune conditions or are taking steroids.
you have skin infection, inflammation or history of keloid scars.
you are unwell on the day of treatment, even with a cold.
you have had a course of Roacutane (isoretinoic acid for acne) in the past 18 months.

you have have had a dermal filler before but not sure what the filler used was, the fillers I use cannot be combined with any permanent or collagen dermal fillers.
If you have a history of cold sores, the injections can trigger a bad flare- so we would need to cover you with treatment for cold sores before the treatment.
What are the side effects or complications of dermal fillers?
Redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and itching are expected, they can get worse after the first day and can last up to 2 weeks.
Any worsening of symptoms after 3 days will need further review.
The injections are made more comfortable by using a local anaesthetic cream, and the dermal filler include a local anaesthetic so the treatment feels more comfortable as it goes on.
There have been approximately 200 reported cases of blindness with dermal filler, that works out at about 1 in 1.5 million injections. To reduce the risk, I know the anatomy of the arteries, and ensure I am in the correct depth, I aspirate with every injection to check the needle is not in the artery, and only every inject small volumes, slowly at a time.
